My great grandmother used to make a cookie recipe, that as a child my mom always loved to have when she visited her grandmother's house. In the time since my great grandmother passed, we found a handwritten copy of her cookie recipe. So, as a mother's day gift, we engraved it to a decorative cutting board for my mom, so she could hang it on her wall in her kitchen. That way, the memory of her grandmother, and her cookies, is never too far away.
